Adopt, or foster to adopt? If you did this, what was your experience?

I have done all of the choices you mentioned: foster[for 34 yrs] legal risk adoption of an older child, fostered to adopt and I'm very well versed in the foster care system. And you choose your own age ranges--- In foster care you choose any range you want to foster--- 0-2, 12--18, 4---7, and 0--18. It is as easy to adopt a young child as it is an older child in Foster to adopt
