Did jamie Oliver retract his outburst, simply to keep his 1.2 million paycheck?

Jamie Oliver has blamed journalists for "taking his words out of context" and causing a rift between himself and Sainsbury's. Oliver invited his employer to a debate over the welfare of poultry on chicken farms. Sainsbury's failed to show up and he berated them for it. Will he be making omlettes for the rest of his career with the egg he has on his face?
