As the non custodial parent how do I get the right to claim child on my taxes every other years?

The custodial parent has never worked and our child is 5 yrs old I claimed him once when we were together but sense then she has let her mother that they will with claim him I pay child support and have my son every weekend I think that it is only far I get to claim him every other year but she will not agree to it
