Can Office 2007 be successfully downloaded onto a 1999 Macintosh laptop?

I may buy a 1999 mac laptop for $150. I want to make sure that my Office 2007 disk can be successfully downloaded to this system. If not - what are my options to get Office 2007 on this computer?
