Girl, it sounds like your ex is willing to work with you. It is typically he will get half of all holidays and 1/2 of summer vacation. Since he is willing to work with you, try to work with him to allow him to see his son as much as he possible can. It will be good for the child, and it is the right thing to do. My daugher was in year round, so I would get her every 3 months for a month, either Thanksgiving or Christmas. She gave me more time because she said it was only fair because she had her every day.
