Trouble with RIVEN- sequel to Myst?

I've tried to install RIVEN, the sequel to Myst several times on my windows XP, it's accepted it before, but every time I get to the part where I have to either 'complete' or 'restart' the installation of the Quick Time files, an error report pops up and doesn't let me finish! There's a certain file that it reaches and I'm guessing that file can't upload?? Because it's always that certain file that invokes the error report. This is the file: bb_cvid.qtc, bb_dci.qtc, bb_mc32.qt. Please tell me someone has encountered this before and knows what to do :S :S!
