Will theists be in the minority in the future?

it's already going that way, where people are less inclined to share their religious beliefs unless they know the people are them are believers too.. all that PC stuff about not saying "merry christmas" and so on has to have a carry on effect throughout the rest of society. maybe as we become more educated and more integrated as a global community via communications networks and other technology, things like religion, which traditionally relied on a consistent culture throughout one's lifetime in order to establish credibility, could become an old fashioned way of thinking. there's no doubt one's community and culture whilst growing up plays a big part in whether or not they become religiously inclined as adults, so when everywhere becomes a metropolitan city and everyone has the ability to move around and see and learn of different things, we might abandon these old beliefs and adopt- at least in public- a general acceptance of the lack of any supernatural forces governing our lives. in which case theists might very well become the one's fighting for credibility from an unwilling public, whereas now it is the atheists who are seen as deviant.
